Australia stunned India in the first round of T20I of the three-match series on 20 September. Aaron Finch and his teammates easily managed 209 to score an all-out win against India. While the Indian fans were saddened by the team’s shameful loss, some Pakistani fans were seen celebrating the result. After the match, Hardik Pandya shared photos from the match and vowed to come back from defeat. “We will learn. We will improve. A big thank you to all of our fans for always supporting,” he tweeted.

It should be noted that India and Pakistan are scheduled to meet in the popular T20 World Cup match in Melbourne on October 23.
It is expected that the comments made by Sehar did not impress the Indian fans. Several social media users reminded her that Pakistan also lost their T20I match against England on the same day.
One Indian fan wrote: “Take some shame, I lost to England at home.”

Another fan highlighted the fact that Pakistani fans were watching India’s match against Australia even when their team was playing at the same time. “Wow, you are watching Indian cricket even though Pakistan is playing in your country. This is the brand that India has put into world cricket.”

Despite posting a giant of 208 runs on board, the Indian team failed to stop the visitors. Australia got off to a great start when Cameron Green scored a dominant 61 out of 30 balls. While the wicket in the middle gave India a chance to turn back, Matthew Wade’s firepower ensured a smooth sailing for the Australian side.
Wade, with 45 of 21 unbeaten deliveries, took his time crossing the finish line with 4 wickets in hand. India’s failure to defend 208 runs does not bode well for the team as the T20 World Cup approaches.
The competition between India and Australia will now move to the VCA Stadium in Nagpur. The second of the three-game T20I series will be played on Friday, September 23rd.
